‘Child’s Pose’, most successful film of the decade
Some 20,000 viewers watched the film in the opening weekend nationwide.
‘Child’s Pose’, the Calin Peter Netzer-directed winner of the 2013 Golden Bear Award, posted a record number of viewers – 19,729 in the opening weekend of its big screen release, more than Iura Luncasu’s “Lie to Me Beautifully”.(14,011) and “Of Snails and Men”, Tudor Giurgiu (13,929 viewers), the Romanian top grossers of 2012, according to a Parada Film press release, which adds that the film grossed RON 259.217 of the past 10 years.
The promotional film campaign in Romania is made possible by the Union of Romanian Cinematographers (UCIN) and the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR).
