As of yesterday, all Orange subscriptions this summer offer will include 4G internet with no additional fees, in addition to special discounts for 4G mobile phones, a press release notes. Therefore, starting July 10, all natural person clients who wish to activate or renew their Orange subscription will benefit from internet at average real 4G speeds of 30 Mbps for download and 15 Mbps for upload. Moreover, clients can now surf the internet at average real download speeds of 60 to 80 Mbps by activating dedicated options for prices from EUR 2/month. Given the sharp increase in public demand for high-speed internet, in just three months since Orange expanded its 4G network, the network’s number of active 4G devices has gone up by 45 percent to 290,000 terminals. At present, Orange provides the largest 4G mobile phone portfolio on the market, consisting of 31 phone models, and one third of all smartphones sold in June are 4G compatible. Furthermore, Orange will be expanding the Best Deal concept to include 4G mobile phones at advantageous prices. This service offers clients who wish to replace their 3G mobile with a 4G model a EUR 30 discount additional to the assessed value.
