The Consultative College of the Competition Council decided unanimously to propose Bogdan Chiritoiu for a new mandate of president of the institution, a proposal to be sent to the Government to be approved, said member of the college Violeta Alexandru for Mediafax. “ … Mr. Oprescu (Gheorghe Oprescu, former president of the Competition Council), who also runs for the position of president, was proposed for the position of competition councilor,” said Alexandru. PSD deputy Daniel Barbulescu submitted his candidacy to the position of president of the competition authority as a total number of 17 candidacies were admitted by the Consultative College of the Council.
