Bucharest Airports Company to audit India’s Chennai and Ahmedabad airports

The Bucharest Airports Company will audit India’s Chennai and Ahmedabad airports as part of the “Airport Excellence Safety Review” programme, the institution announced yesterday. The Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB) hosted, in February 2013, the Airport Excellence Safety Review mission conducted by the Airports Council International (ACI) experts in partnership with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Following this audit CNAB became the first Airport Excellence Safety Review certified airport company, being also confirmed as strategic contributor to the Airport Excellence (APEX) programme which will promote the most modern air safety procedures and standards in airports all around the world.
