Bucharest Science Festival, at the French Institute

The Bucharest Science Festival, an event dedicated to the state-of-the-art technology, will take place between September 27 and October 1 at the French Institute in Bucharest, informs a press release sent to Agerpres on Friday.

According to the release, the French Institute in Bucharest and the Bucharest Science Festival, organised by the Secular Humanist Association of Romania, are teaming again this year “to open windows to the world of tomorrow”.

Thus, on September 28, the audience is invited to discover the latest technology within an RTR (Renault Technologie Roumanie – ed.n.) Creative LAB. Visitors will be able to find out how a 3D printer, a prototype 3D print engine and “robot vehicles” work. Moreover, in the courtyard of the Institute, ZOE – Renault’s electric car will be on display, reads the release.

What’s more, on the evening of September 29, at the French Institute, experts will talk to the audience about the “4.0 Industrial Revolution.”

The festival will also feature the exhibitions titled “Agriculture: the digital is in the fields” and “The International Space Station: what is its scientific balance?”. At the same time, the copy of a nano-satellite created by the AKKA company will show the pace of space technology development, the release further mentions.

In addition, several students will participate in the activities carried out during the event in cooperation with Thales, Airbus Helicopters, Renault, the BRD Mindcraft Robotic Laboratory, the Laser Advanced Technology Integrated Centre of the Magurele Institute.
