Carrefour Group opens third supermarket in Bacau
Carrefour opens today its third supermarket in Bacau, taking the total number of Carrefour supermarkets to 66, a press communiqué informs. Market Republicii, the new supermarket, is located on Republicii 74 Street, its commercial model centering on a range of approximately 5,000 products and its offer including over 1,000 Carrefour products at the same price as in hypermarkets (and given a similar quality the price is at least 20 per cent below that of national brands). The company operates three types of stores, namely 24 Carrefour hypermarkets, 66 Market supermarkets and 20 Express proximity stores.
