Catalin Trifu, new Romexpo manager

The new manager of the exhibition center Romexpo in Bucharest is Catalin Trifu, who had previously held many other management positions within the company, replacing Mariana Suciu, according to a press release.
Sorin Vornic, Romexpo chairman of the board, said that the new executive appointment aims to bring a “fresh breath of air” to the company. Contacted by Mediafax, Romexpo representatives refused to provide further details about the reasons of Mariana Suciu’s replacement and refused to make public the position held previously by Trifu within the company. More than 500,000 people visited the exhibition center Romexpo in Bucharest last year, where 58 fairs, 390 conferences, seminars and congresses were held, along with five concerts.
