The Department of Energy has started the procedures for putting more than 30 positions up for a competition for young university graduates. In a press release of the department, Minister-delegate for Energy Razvan Nicolescu is said to have met on Thursday young interns who picked the Department for Energy at the second edition of the internship programme for the central public administration started by the Romanian Government. ,‘The Romanian energy system needs a change. There is high resistance to change and change can only be delivered by new, young people who graduate abroad, and not by those who have been in a public office for 25 years, desperately clinging to their offices,’ Nicolescu is quoted as saying in the release. On Thursday, 160 young people started internships with ministries and other central public administration institutions, the same as young people did at the first edition of the internship programme in 2013.
