The game will start at 9 PM on the National Arena and will be broadcast live on ProTV.
The final of the Romanian Cup “Timisoreana” will take place today, pitting Dinamo Bucharest against Rapid Bucharest. This is the second consecutive Romanian Cup final that pits two Bucharest-based teams against each other. If last year the final that pitted Steaua Bucharest against Dinamo Bucharest was sold-out, the 8,000 seats of Brasov’s ‘Silviu Ploiesteanu’ stadium turning out to be insufficient for the demand, this year the National Arena itself seems to be not big enough. The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) is satisfied with the very good sale of tickets for the last game of the season. Of the 36,000 tickets that the FRF offered to the two teams’ fans, over 28,000 have been sold. However, it was estimated that the game will be sold-out by the time the game starts. The sale of tickets that FRF set aside in order to sell individually is doing well too. Apart from the several thousand tickets kept for the sponsors and protocol, the Federation managed to sell approximately 5,000 tickets, which means that the total tickets sold surpass 30,000. The game promises to be balanced, between two teams that had a poor League I season, finishing on 4th-5th places. The game starts at 9 PM on the National Arena and will be broadcast live on Pro TV.
