Dinamo wins epee Champions League

Dinamo Bucharest men epee team has won on Monday the Champions League, winning the final against Vasas Budapest 45-43, Mediafax informs. The contest took place in Godolo, Hungary and gathered six European teams, Hotnews informs.
In the semifinal the Romanian team defeated the French team Paupau: 45-38. During the final, epee athlete Tiberiu Dolniceanu got injured when the score was 41-40 and was replaced by Iulian Teodosiu, who won the last points for Dinamo.
Dinamo epee men team coach Mihai Covaliu was ecstatic: “It’s a great result for Dinamo, a team that had won before this trophy. Winning the tournament that included powerful teams means we have a bright future for this sport.”
Dinamo team included Tiberiu Dolniceanu, Iulian Teodosiu, Ciprian Galatanu and Alin Badea, the last athlete being on loan from Steaua for this epee tournament.
