DNA probes Adrian Severin for other accusations
The National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) expanded the investigation in the corruption case of Adrian Severin by probing him for using or making fake documents or statements, in order to obtain undeserved funds from the general budget of European communities or the budgets administered by them. DNA announced that it expanded the investigation in the case that has MEP Adrian Severin accused of bribe taking and influence peddling. In the case, anticorruption prosecutors started to probe Adrian Severin for a new accusation: “using or making fake, inexact or incomplete documents or statements, in view of obtaining undeserved funds from the general budget of European communities or the budgets administered by them, with serious consequences, in a continued form,” the DNA announced Thursday in a press release.
