As Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Constanta, I want to share a few words of admiration for this Great Nation, with pleasure and honor at the same time.

On the 26th year of proclaiming independence, the Kazakh people rediscover and define, masterfully, the important role of the Mediator in the World for the most difficult and important problems that humanity faces.

For centuries, through survivals and victories of troubled history of war and oppressions, the Kazakh nation learned to break ground over time, keeping intact the unique traditions and national spirit.

On my first visit to Almaty, the commercial capital of the country, I was given the opportunity to discover the loud and special colors of the traditional warmth and hospitality.

After days of food and drinks, like never before, I’ve rediscovered what really means Kazakh hospitality, a feeling that you are a dear and special friend.

At the foothills of Alatau mountains, Almaty is a center of universal and cultural diversity where hundreds of nationalities reside with their families, coming from all over the globe.

Called the Country of the Great Steppe, Kazakhstan, combines the height of the Himalaya Mountains with endless fields of wild steppe, which end at one part with the Big Caspian Sea, passing over lakes and forests, with a beauty difficult to express in words.

Astana, the official capital of the state, is a wonder city which grew up in a generation like others in a century.

I discovered it this year, during the visit to Astana Expo 2017. Modern and traditional at the same time, official and artistic, represents the true spirit of the Kazakh nation.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev, managed to raise a city like a world, with the technology of the 21st century and the heart of the 6th century.

Located in the center of the city, the Bayterek Tower, the symbol of the national renaissance, is meant to embody a folktale about a mythical tree of life and a magic bird of happiness: the bird, named Samruk, had laid its egg in the crevice between two branches of a poplar tree.

The EXPO Astana 2017 exhibition complex has the appearance of a painting and represents the commercial gateway of the present through which the world can connect to the future.

There are countless other examples that can describe the beauties of the Great Kazakh Nation, President Nursultan Nazarbayev, can serve as an example to the world, starting from an ordinary worker to becoming the Leader of the Nation (Elbasy).

I conclude this article with an invitation, to visit, at least once in your life, these wonderful places and to feel the unique hospitality of the Kazakh people.
