elmiplant enters the pharmacies with the Care Lab line and forecasts an annual turnover growth of 5%

Starting from this year, elmiplant cosmetics brand extends its presence on the market and enters the pharmacy chains with a new specialized skin care line, exclusively dedicated to this distribution channel. By launching elmiplant Care Lab, the brand increases its products portfolio by 11 units and forecasts an annual turnover growth of 5%.

“Launching our first cosmetic product line in pharmacies is a confirmation of the success of our elmiplant brand products in the mass-market care segment. Extending on a new distribution channel is part of the elmiplant strategy to be as close as possible to its consumers by innovative skin care formulas. The Care Lab line is different from the classical ranges by its sophisticated approach, according to the pharma channels’ standard and with the same care on the solutions containing natural ingredients” stated Adriana Ilioiu, Sarantis Marketing Manager.

The new products that can be found on the shelves of the pharmacy chains have been developed according to the results of the research and they will cover 3 segments: sensitive and atopic skin care, prone to irritation and allergies – the elmiplant Care Lab Sensitive range (3 products); body care during and after pregnancy – elmiplant Care Lab mama range (3 products), and sun protection – elmiplant Care Lab SUN range (5 products).

The absolute novelty within the elmiplant portfolio is given by elmiplant Care Lab mama, a full range of special formulated products to provide efficient and gentle care during quick changes through which the skin passes during pregnancy and after birth. Care Lab mama contains natural ingredients carefully selected for the mother and baby safety during prenatal and postpartum periods. “We enter confidently a new segment of consumers, namely the mothers’ segment, bringing the power of the nature as close as possible to them through efficient solutions which take into account the specific needs of this delicate period” stated Camelia Francu, elmiplant Brand Manager.

All the elmiplant Care Lab products have innovative formulas clinically and dermatologically tested, which contain a unique combination of natural active ingredients. They can be purchased by the general public exclusively from the main pharmacy chains and from the independent pharmacies.
