Emirates Airline company headquartered in Dubai has prospected the Romanian market over the past few months and they will start operating flights between Bucharest and Dubai this year, tourism sources told Mediafax. Emirates representatives met over the past few months with representatives of many tour operators in Romania and with officials of Otopeni airport management, announcing their intention to operate flights between Bucharest and Dubai. Currently, Emirates has more than 215 airplanes and operates flights to more than 140 destinations in more than 80 states. More than 1,500 flights leave Dubai each week, to destinations over six continents. The company is the major operator in the world for Airbus A380 and Boeing 777.
