LED Apple is famous among the young generation that loves fresh music and dance, as it is the best known and most popular “boys band” of the Korean musical scene. Its popularity however goes far beyond the borders of Korea, even those of the Asian continent: the band has an official club even in Romania.
LED Apple became famous for its specific music style, which combines a conventional approach with the freshness of electronic music and spectacular dance elements that are present in each show performed by the charismatic musicians. LED Apple is considered as a phehnomenon in Korea and, at the beginning of 2012, it was chosen as protagonist of a reality show aired by the local station of MTV – SBS MTV. The reality show held during February-March 2012 had record audiences and reinforced the band members’ statute of teenagers’ idols. They were guest stars in the most popular Korean soaps and in 2012 their activity was crowned by the Rookie Award (section Idol Division Male) of Korea’s most prestigious cultural-entertainment awards – 20th Korean Culture Entertainment Awards.
The LED Apple concert means the first step towards a Romanian-Korean cultural bridge in the music-entertainment segment. It is organised by Kompas Events: www.kompasevents.ro.
