Families affected by Olt County flooding to receive 12 modular houses


Families affected by flooding in Olt County will receive aid in the form of 12 modular houses, following the approval granted by Prime Minister Victor Ponta on the proposal made by Vice Prime Minister for National Security and Minister of Internal Affairs, Gabriel Oprea, a press release of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.

The 12 houses were transported in the localities of Colonesti, Optasi-Magura, and Corbu of Olt County to be installed, connected to the utilities and distributed to families whose houses were destroyed by flooding.

The executive approved in its last session a series of Government decisions to grant emergency humanitarian aid to support the affected population of the counties that saw flooding, the aid consisting of, among others, the sum of 51,740 thousand lei, but also products withdrawn from the State Reserve, in the form of food products, blankets, bed sheets and diesel fuel.
