Feature films of up-and-coming directors from Great Britain, the United States of America, Argentina and New Zealand are to be presented during the Full Moon (Luna Plina) Festival competition that is to take place on July 23-27 in Biertan, the central Sibiu county, a release of the organizers informs, as quoted by Agerpres. This year’s jury is composed of Artur Brzozowski (programmer Fantasy FilmFest – Germany), Tom Lukaszewicz (co-director of the Black Bear Filmfest – Poland) and Mihai Chirilov (TIFF artistic director). The feature films running in the competition are ‘Coherence’ (US, 2013), ‘In Fear’ (Great Britain, 2013), ‘It Follows’ (US, 2014), ‘Sonno Profundo’ (Deep Sleep, Argentina, 2013), ‘Summer of Blood’ (US, 2014), and ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ (New Zealand, 2014). Beside the feature film competition, the festival will also be host to a horror and supernatural short film competition, in which 15 short films selected by Cristi Marculescu are to compete for the trophy that is to be decided by public vote. The Full Moon Horror&Supernatural Film Festival, the first festival in Romania dedicated exclusively to the genre, has reached its third edition.
