Garanti Bank attracted RON 300 million through an issue of non-guaranteed bonds in lei, opened on the 26th of May and closed early on the 27th of May, due to the full subscription, a press release informs. Garanti Bank is going to submit the necessary documentation, in order for the bonds to be included as soon as possible in the trading on the regulated market managed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The total nominal value of the bonds issued amounted to RON 230 million, with the option to increase this amount to a maximum of RON 300 million. The bonds issued have an annual interest rate of 5.47 percent and have a 5-year maturity, being due in 2019. As in the second day after the bonds issue was opened the level of subscriptions exceeded the maximum level announced, the offer was closed early on the 27th of May. The sale of bonds was successfully mediated by BRD – Groupe Societe Generale.
