After the hot summer days, Bucharesters will have the opportunity
to enjoy the pleasant September evenings and be delighted by the lovely musical arrangements that are going to be heard in the centre of the city
for two weeks, between September 14 and 28.
According to a press release of the centre for Cultural Projects of the Bucharest Municipality, ArCuB, for two weeks the people in Bucharest will be able to meet famous artists who came here with a special repertoire. Appreciated works of the composers Dvo?ák, Ceaikovski, Rachmaninov, Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Strauss, Enescu as well as many others will be performed by some of the most famous and appreciated musical groups, as the “George Enescu” National Music College, Quarteto Barbera, the Ramnicu Valcea Philharmonic, Romanian Philharmonic, Orchestra Cammerata, Silvestri Orchestra or the Radio Big Band.
The opening will be on Saturday, September 14, with the concert of the Violoncellisimo Ensemble, led by Marian Cazacu. Apart from the classic music, in the George Enescu Square, jazz lovers are expected to come too, for the extraordinary concert of Latin Jazz of Mandinga or for the exciting concert of the Jazzappella Band. Those who love the classic guitar, are invited to the shows full of rhythm off the well-known Trio Zamfirescu. From the agenda of the festival that is going to take place in the centre of the city, the lyrical recitals, the film screenings and the theatre shows will not be missed.
