JTI certified Top Employers in Romania and Europe


JTI has achieved the Top Employers Romania and Europe 2014 certification from the Top Employers Institute. This important award highlights JTI’s dedication to developing its people and having excellent employment conditions.
The Top Employers Institute assessed JTI Romania’s employment standards and areas such as training, career development and culture management, which were awarded high scores: 91.7%, 81.1%, respectively 79.5%.
The research reveals that JTI Romania nurtures and develops talents at all levels of the organisation, always striving to optimise its employment practices and to develop its employees. JTI Romania’s reputation and its responsibility towards the local community and society are vital elements in creating, for the employees, a sense of belonging.

Last year JTI celebrated 20 years in the local market, being one of the first multinational companies established in Romania.
Twenty-five JTI offices across Europe and beyond, incl. Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland or United Kingdom, were recognized by the Top Employers Institute for their excellence in people management. On March 11th, JTI was awarded with Top 3 Employer in Europe. The
survey results were confirmed by an independent audit conducted by Grant Thornton.
