Magnetic indefatigable Ian Anderson in memorable gig at Palace Hall


The indefatigable Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) provided an unforgettable concert to his fans at the Palace Hall in Bucharest in which he combined as only he knows how the flute and the rock, jazz, blues and folk sounds. The public could listen to the best and most famous songs of Jethro Tull along with songs on their latest album Homo Erraticus: “Living in the Past”, “With You There to Help Me”,  “Nothing is Easy”, “Mother Goose”, “Doggerland”,  “Thick as a Brick”, the great “Sweet Dream”, “Too Old to Rock ‘n’ Roll: Too Young to Die”, “Budapest”, another exceptional song “Aqualung”, “ Locomotive Breath” for encore.
A show with a magnetic, eccentric and indefatigable Ian Anderson accompanied by his magic flute that brought his fame all around the world! The artists’ stage attire was simple, made up of a shirt, a vest, fabric trousers and assorted shoes that allowed him to move around on the stage and make his famous somersaults and pirouettes! The playlist was selected from the entire history of the band named after the famous inventor and pioneer of agriculture, as the songs were changed and adapted for their live version. The best moments were the flute solos and when the flute overcame the noisy rock sounds!
Mister Tull presented his stage partners each providing a mastery solo moment. Florian Opahle (solo guitar), John O’Hara (keyboard, vocal), David Goodier (bass guitar), Scott Hammond (drums, percussion) were completing the magnificent show of Ian Anderson in Bucharest! The complex, eccentric energetic personality of Ian Anderson stirred his fans who were left happy with such a lesson of music.
