Metal All Stars, major rock music event of 2014, comes to Bucharest


The most famous symbols of metal who wrote history in music, united under the name of Metal All Stars, will come to Bucharest on March 24 at 7:30 pm at Romexpo, Central Pavilion, in an event organized by Phoenix Entertainment and recommended by Rock FM, Coca-Cola and Ciuc Music, spanning four hours of music. Metal All Stars, the major rock music event of 2014, will unfold as a festival, each singer will play, accompanied by the other instrumentalists, a set of consecrated songs of the band they belong to, reports metalhead.ro. Metal All Stars is the opportunity to live a unique experience in the company of some titans who had an essential contribution in the music development: Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, former Ozzy Osbourne band), Max Cavalera (former Sepultura, Soulfly), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Udo Dirkschneider (former Accept, UDO), Cronos (Venom), Nick Menza (former Megadeth), Rob Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne band), Ross the Boss (Manowar), Jon Donais (Anthrax), Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong), Jesse Bilson, Jasin Todd (Shinedown), Brian Fair and Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall).
The fans will listen to songs of Pantera, Sepultura, Accept, Anthrax, Shadows Fall, Venom and others. The supreme havoc will take place at the end of the event, when the metal stars will join their forces for the first time in a Metal All Star jam. Another premiere for Romania will be the Pantera recital who will be heard for the first time by Phil Anselmo’s voice.
Zakk Wylde is one of the best guitarists in the world, a founding member of the heavy metal band Black Label Society and former guitarist of Ozzy Osbourne’s band. Zakk is also known as a very good singer, with a unique voice. Several months ago, a reunion of Pantera was rumoured, with Zakk replacing his good friend guitarist Dimebag Darell. This project fell through however, but the fans will have the opportunity to see how this reunion might have sounded as Zakk and Phil Anselmo will play together some Pantera songs in a long expected moment. Another top musician who joined the Metal All Stars is vocal Brian Fair. In 2000, he joined Shadows Fall band with whom he had a great success, peaked by two nominations at the Grammy awards for the songs “What drives the weak” and “Redemption”. The Shadows Fall will be represented at Metal All Stars not only by Brian Fair but also by guitarist Matt Bachard.
Tickets can be found in the Eventim network, in the Orange, Vodafone, Germanos and Domo retail chains and in Humanitas and Carturesti bookshops and online on www.eventim.ro. Tickets can be purchased for RON 140 (Normal Circle), RON 175 (Golden Circle), RON 330 (seats) by March 23 and during the concert day RON 150 for the Normal Circle, RON 185 for the Golden Circle and RON 350 for seats.
