The Nadlac-Sibiu motorway will be completed in the spring of 2015, maybe even sooner, the delegate minister for Projects of Infrastructure of National Interest and Foreign Investments, Dan Sova said on Antena 3. The delegate minister for Projects of Infrastructure explained that there currently are contracts in execution, as well as segments on Corridor IV under attributing procedure, plus the segments of new motorway that are planned to be built under concession. Dan Sova added that between Bucharest and Constanta there is still work to do on Cernavoda – Medgidia, Medgidia – Constanta and the Constanta ring, which will be finalised until next year. Moreover, the official explained that in the financial exercise, starting January 1, 2014 there will be the problem of the Sibiu – Pitesti motorway, which must connect Corridor IV, or one can discuss – without benefiting from European funds – about a motorway Sibiu – Brasov. Related to this motorway, Dan Sova explained that it could be made until 2016, if Sibiu-Pitesti will be constructed. He added that he wants the Comarnic – Brasov motorway to be ready in October 2015 at latest, meaning in maximum two years since the moment when works is ordered to start, estimated for October 2013 at latest.
