Pivniceru calls on prosecutors to attend the selection for top prosecutors
The minister of Justice encouraged prosecutors to participate in the selection procedure for nominating candidates to the offices of general prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and chief of the National Anticorruption Directorate, which will be launched by the Ministry of Justice (MJ) in the near future. The appeal was made Friday, during a meeting dedicated to the analysis of the results of the activity of the prosecutors of the Iasi Court of Appeals, reads a press release sent by MJ to MEDIAFAX. President Traian Basescu said Thursday on B1TV that he recommended the minister of Justice, Mona Pivniceru to appoint Daniel Morar as general prosecutor, but she replied “Never.”
