The National Liberal Party (PNL) Chairman Ludovic Orban and other members of the Liberal party’s leadership will be visiting USA between November 10 and 19, and they will meet members of the Congress and the Senate, senior officials of the State Department, representatives of think tanks, business sector and Romanian community in the United States.
“The PNL representatives will be visiting Washington, Maryland, Philadelphia, New York and Atlanta, where they will meet members of the Congress and the Senate of the United Sates of America, senior officials of the US State Department, representatives of think tanks, business sector and Romanian community in the USA. Strengthening the special partnership that Romania has with the United States of America is a priority component in PNL’s vision on the foreign policy, and in this respect PNL will enhance the development of the bilateral relationships in several convergence areas. At the same time, PNL that the relationship with the Romanian Diaspora in the USA is extremely important, being a vital resource in developing and deepening the relationship with USA, as well as an essential relationship in Romania’ development” reads a press release issued by PNL.
According to the quoted source, members of the PNL leadership will be visiting the United States of America from November 10 to 19. The PNL delegation will be represented by the party’s Chairman Ludovic Orban, the PNL Secretary General Robert Sighiartau, the PNL Vice Chair Ben-Oni Ardelean (who is also the Vice Chairman of the Deputies’ Chamber) and the PNL Diaspora Chairman Viorel Badea (who is also the Chairman of the Senate’s Committee for Romanians Abroad).
