Possible Government reshuffle on February 1

PNL chairman Crin Antonescu said on Wednesday that he does not write off the possibility that some reshuffling might take place among the ministers at the Standing Delegation on February 1, following an evaluation process based on the way governmental decisions were made and publicly announced, according to Mediafax. “We take into account the activity of all ministers, and we should not write off the possibility that reshuffling might occur in some cases. … There are some criteria, almost universal, to evaluate ministers, the way they fulfilled their duties, the ministry they lead, the governing program, including decisions, management and obviously public communication,” said the PNL leader. Antonescu’s statement was an answer to the journalists’ questions as to the possibility of Interior Minister Radu Stroe’s resignation.
