President Basescu on Tuesday signed a decree through which he promulgated the Law on the ratification of the Letter of Intent to the IMF (International Monetary Fund). The Romanian authorities signed the Letter on March 5, 2014, in Bucharest, and the IMF approved it on March 26, 2014, through a Decision of the Board of Governors, announced the Presidential Administration. The draft law refers to the financial support received by Romania and confirms to the international community that the IMF will continue to support the policies promoted by the Romanian government.
