PRM candidates for European elections

MEP Corneliu Vadim Tudor of the Greater Romania Party (PRM) on Wednesday filed with the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) a list of PRM candidates for the May 25 European elections, criticising the Gheorghe Funar wing of the party, according to Agerpres. Tudor said he is leading the list and following him are former Bucharest Deputy Mayor Victor Iovici and former MEP Cristian Stanescu. He said the list comprises people of value backed by 222,000 support signatures. BEC Spokesman Marian Muhulet has told Agerpres that the candidacies have to be filed by midnight, while BEC will accept of reject them by April 5. Challenges to the BEC decisions will be possible by April 10.
