The online advertising market value in Romania will record a 14.6 percent annual increase, and its value will reach USD 141 million in 2018, this year’s edition of the PwC Entertainment and Media Outlook research mentions. Another segment to record a growth of the market is the payments for the Internet access, with an average annual plus of 9.9 percent, up to USD 1.18 billion in 2018, from USD 841 million this year. Thus, the Internet access and the online advertising will count, in four years now, for over 40 pct. of the media and entertainment market of Romania, followed at a big distance by the tv subscriptions (USD 612 million in 2018). According to the PwC research, at a general level, the Romanian media and entertainment market will record an average annual increase (CAGR) by 5.2 percent, reaching USD 3.1 billion until 2018.
