Romania exports fish, crustaceans and molluscs worth over EUR 10 M in January-May 2017

Romania exported in January through May 2017, fish, crustaceans and molluscs worth EUR 10.1 million, by 15.1 percent more than in the similar period of 2016, according to data released by the National Statistics Institute (INS).

The imports of fish, crustaceans and molluscs saw EUR 4.1 million, higher by 19.6 percent as compared to the same period of 2016, thus recording a EUR 6 million surplus on this segment.

In the first five months of 2017, the FOB exports reached EUR 25.812 billion and grew by 11.1 percent against the same period of 2016.

In the said period, the CIF imports totalled EUR 30.279 billion, growing by 12 percent as compared to the same five months of 2016
