Romania-Moldova coproduction nominated for ‘Best human rights film’ at Hollywood

The Romania-Moldova coproduction ‘All God’s Children’ directed by Romanian Adrian Popovici was nominated for ‘Best film on human rights’ by the Political Film Society in Hollywood, along with really high-profile productions like ‘The Butler’, ‘12 Years a Slave’, ‘42’, ‘Mandela’, and ‘Wajda’, Romania International Film Festival announces in a release this Friday. ‘All God’s Children’ is the first title the Republic of Moldova enters in the battle for the Oscar for ‘Best foreign-language film’. Adrian Popovici’s movie tells a story about child trafficking and women’s forced prostitution, which are endemic in Eastern Europe.
