The Romanian Fashion Philosophy (RFP) event will be held at Avenue 48 (48 Pipera Road), October 18-20, with the AGERPRES National News Agency being part of it with an exhibition of fashion file pictures from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s,’ 80s and ’90s.

Organisers said Monday that included among the novelties of this edition will be gathering together and promoting fashion designers, and brands from Moldova under the motto ‘Din Inima,’ (From the Heart), as well as establishing links with Romania’s textiles industry by opening collaboration with the National Research and Development Institute for Textiles and Leather.

The National Research and Development Institute for Textiles and Leather will organise during the Romanian Fashion Philosophy SS18 the international conference “TexTech: Creating the future of textiles.”

Also for the first time in Romania, RFP organisers will bring to its catwalks fashion models from four countries, plus Romania, that have held dosens of fashion presentations in Milan, Paris, London and New York.

The three days of the event are structured as follows: Wednesday – the day of Romanian designers; Thursday – the day of Moldovan brands; Friday – the international day, where local designers will also be introduced to the public.

Among the creators who will present their latest collections at the Romanian Fashion Philosophy are: Mirela Diaconu, Ana Maria Cornea, Ravan Valceanu, Celebrity Skin (Greece), O’Blanc, Ionel, DiVero (Moldova), Aghe Mare (Italy) and VIP (Portugal).

Highly-talented fashion designer Samanta Russo of Italy, who has voiced intention to invest in opening a store in Bucharest, is a special gust of this year’s edition of RFP. She will unveil to the public her latest collection on Friday.

The Romanian Fashion Philosophy, which will start daily at 18:00hrs, local, continues a programme that promotes young designers. This year, students of the ILBAH Workshops will get to present their creations on the first day of the Romanian Fashion Philosophy.

AGERPRES will take part in the event with an exhibition of fashion file photographs from the ’50s,’ 60s, ’70s,’80s and ’90s.

Another novelty is the launch of a book by former fashion model Dana Savuica on Wednesday, the first day of the Romanian Fashion Philosophy.

The Romanian Fashion Philosophy organisers and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest City (CCIB) have signed a collaboration protocol, with CCIB providing its support to the growing demands coming from foreign brands seeking to do business in the city.
