The Romtelecom Company had net revenues of 150 million euros in Q2 2014, which led to a total of 306 million euros net revenues for H1, up 4 percent year-on-year, according to a release to AGERPRES on Thursday.
The earnings before interests, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in Q2 were 44 million euros, or 31.6 percent higher year-on-year; for H1, the total was nearly 82 million euros, up 14.4 percent year-on-year.
In the TV operations, the company had 6.8 percent more clients (1.384 million) in Q2 compared to the same period of 2013. The number of Internet clients was also 1.5 up year-on-year, to 1.244 million, while the number of fixed telephony clients declined 4.1 percent to 2.191 million.
‘We had 4.82 million subscriptions in Q2 2014, a stable figure compared to the same period of last year,’ the release mentions.
For the mobile telephony division COSMOTE, total revenues were stable in H1 compared to the same period of 2013, namely 219.8 million euros. Over the same period, the EBITDA went down 3.3 percent to 52.6 million euro, partly owing to lower interconnection tariffs
