Roughly one third of Romanians (34 percent) would invest in energy-saving solutions to increase their home’s energy efficiency if they had a considerable amount of money, while 16 pct would rather replace their furniture with a more stylish one, and 11 percent would buy high-tech electronic equipment, found a Europe-wide survey conducted by E.ON and Kantar EMNID.

The Romanians’ long standing concern to expand their living space is also recognizable in the cited survey, as 10 pct of the respondents said this is what they would spend their money for, provided that they had it.

About 8,000 people from Germany, the UK, Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, Sweden, Turkey and Hungary were quizzed for the “Living in Europe” survey conducted in December 2016.
