The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) will be transferred from the PM’s coordination to that of the minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the National Fishery and Aquaculture Agency will become subordinated to the Ministry of Environment, Mediafax reports. The Fishery Agency was previously subordinated to the Agriculture Ministry.The changes were operated at the government session last Friday, which passed the new structure of the Agriculture Ministry. According to government spokesman Andrei Zaharescu, the measure will result in fewer state-paid positions at the Ministry of Agriculture.
