Selgros Cash & Carry, the favorite store of the professionals and enthusiasts of goodies has launched on Tuesday the “Chef for a Day” national competition.
“Chef for a Day” is a competition that is offering the chance to run for a day, the kitchen of a restaurant in one of the 16 cities where Selgros holds stores. The competition is for all the enthusiasts of cooking with goodies who are willing to learn more about the world of professionals and to work with them.
To enter the competition, the applicants must register on the site chefpentruozi.ro their favorite recipe (or the one they prepare the best ), documented with photos and /or a video. The recipes in this competition will be judged by the jury formed by Laura Laurentiu, the author of ‘‘Retete ca la mama” culinary blog and Oana Igretiu from Savori Urbane (Urban Flavors -e.n.), alongside chef Liviu Preda, winner and juror of the Chefs Arena. The competition includes prizes of kitchen equipment and shopping vouchers at Selgros.
Moreover, another aspect of the competition is that during this event, the candidates will receive informational support from 15 renowned culinary bloggers from across the country. The recipes and the tips can be traced on selgroscautapasiunea.ro blog.
“Chef for a Day is a unique competition through structure and through the 16 prizes offered to the enthusiasts of goodies – working along professionals of gastronomy. The entries in “Chef for a Day” competition have began on April 18 and will close on May 15, and the results of the competition will be announced on June 1, 2017. The contest rules are available on the site chefpentruozi.ro.
