After organizing, at the end of last week, the Medieval Festival, the municipality of the Prahova County will host a new event designed for leisure. One week later, people from Ploiesti and not only them, will enjoy a new festival, this time an exotic one, full of color and of… flavors. There will actually be two festivals – a festival of the multiculturalism and a Turkish one.
After Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj, “The Turkish Festival” – a unique show in Romania, will arrive in Prahova, Ploiesti. The event will take place between July 21 and 23, 2017, and the organizers are the Lumina Foundation and the Spectrum Ploiesti International School, in cooperation with the Ploiesti Municipality. The event will be held in downtown; the organizers mentioned that the people will actually enjoy two festivals. They are the Festival of the Multiculturalism and the Turkish Festival. Being a unique concept, the two events will also bring to Ploiesti music, dances and traditions focused on multiculturalism, but they will especially be represented by the Turkish ones. In addition to the artistic performances, special places will be arranged for presenting costumes and objects which highlight the cultural wealth. Not at last, fragrances and flavors which will come from the stands where traditional Turkish food and sweets will be displayed.
