The third edition of the extraordinary tour entitled ‘The Music of Romanian Palaces’ sets out to take audiences on an astonishing journey guided by Duo Kitharsis. The novelty cultural/touristic event will take place between August 9 and August 16, 2014. High quality music composed by Mauro Giuliani, Manuel de Falla, Dusan Bogdanovic, Jean-Philippe Rameau, and Astor Piazzolla will make its way into spectacular Romanian travel destinations, including the Mogosoaia Castle – The Birch Hall (Saturday, August 9, 12.00 p.m.), the Peles Castle – the Music Hall (Sunday, August 10, 4.00 p.m.), and the Marincu Palace in Calafat (Saturday, August 16, 6.00 p.m.). Duo Katharsis, winner of the Fifth Edition of the ‘Road to Celebrity’ Contest, is a band that plays instruments crafted by Romanian luthier Alexandru Marian. The event, organized by the Pro Valores Association and Radio Romania Cultural, invites audiences to discover Romania’s immense cultural and touristic potential.
