Train Delivery at North Station in Bucharest

The North Station in Bucharest reinvented itself this weekend through culture, art, film, debates and games during the Train Delivery event. On the 14 platform of the North Station many trains turned into artistic cultural areas were set. For example one of the trains hosts an area of relaxation and bookshop, another has been turned by the Polish Institute into an exhibition area and another has a brasserie, and in another the public is invited to the “funny quotes of the train of joy.” The area was animated by artists who painted these trains and also a wall right of the platform, with a stage set for musical performances. Train Delivery is an urban-railway event aiming to revitalize a symbolic space of Bucharest, the North Station, according to the organizers. Train Delivery follows Street Delivery and is organized by Carturesti Foundation and the Romanian Railway Company and funded by ArCuB.
