The General Manager of Coface Romania overtook the management of two more subsidiaries in the Coface portfolio of Eastern Europe, respectively in Bulgaria and Slovakia, and was appointed country cluster manager, the company announced yesterday. Ionescu, who was appointed the Manager of Coface Romania in 2003, was granted the mission to strengthen and develop the Coface strategy established by the “Central and Eastern European Platform,” by reaching a higher performance by the consolidation and the close supervision of the three units, and also by the identification and exploitation of development opportunities in this area, a press release issued by the company shows. The Central and Eastern European Platform is coordinated by Coface Austria and includes 15 states. The Coface subsidiaries in Bulgaria and Slovakia supply similar services to the Romanian subsidiary, respectively loan insurances, information and ratings on debt collection companies, not to mention that Slovakia’s portfolio also includes factoring services, which will be available on the Romanian market starting next year.
