District 2 Mayor Neculai Ontanu denounced the violent conduct of the merchants saying he suspected their businesses hide some irregularities which the press could uncover.
The mayor also criticized the B&C International Security company whose employees had an unprofessional conduct towards the press accompanying the consumer protection inspectors. The District 2 local authorities applied RON 3,000 fines to the violent merchants.
