The term of the country manager for Romania of the Italian group Enel, Matteo Codazzi, expires in early May, his responsibilities being taken over by the current manager for planning and control within the group international division, Claudio Zito. “On May 4, the date of the next Enel Romania General Shareholders Meeting, Matteo Codazzi completes, based on planning, his tenure as country manager for Enel Romania. Starting the same day, Claudio Zito, currently manager for planning and control within the international division of Enel Group, will take over all the functions and responsibilities so far held by Codazzi, namely the country manager and the CEO for Enel companies in Romania,” based on a group press release.
Matteo Codazzi will become the general manager of CESI, an Italian company active in energy and in environment, active in more than 35 states where Enel controls 25.9 per cent of the stock.
Zito is a member in the administration boards of Enel companies in Romania. “In Romania, Enel is an investor on long term which intends to create value for the shareholders and for the community. In order to reach such important targets, I rely on the support of shareholders and on an ambitious investment plan, which has already been launched in the country,” Claudio Zito said at the appointment.
