Package of laws on decentralization, discussed after May 4

Premier Emil Boc announced on Saturday that the package of laws on decentralization will be discussed by the Government after May 4 as all documents necessary until that date will be finished and the document will be adopted until the end of the year, Mediafax announces.

The administration decentralization will include the overtaking of several institutions and units, such as agriculture offices, hospitals, Vehicle Registration offices, cinema theatres, ports and airports by local authorities, and will impose the change of the most important administrative laws. The decentralization process will determine the transfer of attributions in some of the most important domains, respectively in Education, Health, Public Order and Safety, Culture, Social Insurances, Transportation, Agriculture, starting in May.
