TM Stevens, one of the world’s most spectacular bass players, will perform at the Becker Brau Live Music Club in Bucharest on May 3.
The bass player will be accompanied by his band The Shocka Zooloo, featuring Delmar Brown (keyboards) and Gary Sullivan the G-Man (drums), performing a special project that also involved guitarist Stevie Salas.
According to the organizers, the band Phenomenon will be the opening act of the show. TM Stevens has worked with legendary artists such as James Brown, Miles Davis, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Steve Vai and Billy Joel. During his international tours, he impressed his audience each time with “the weapon,” as he used to nickname his bass guitar. TM Stevens and Stevie Salas will perform an outstanding show that will consist of a powerful combination of funk, rock, jazz and heavy metal, for the listening pleasure of their Bucharest audience. Stevie Salas, another cult figure of funk rock music, has performed and worked in studio with many successful artists such as Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Ron Wood, George Clinton, Matt Sorum, Duran Duran and Terence Trent D’Arby, but also gained individual achievements. By example, his second solo album won the “Best Album” Award in Japan, although his direct competitors were Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. The tickets cost RON 70 and are available at the Diverta and Germanos stores, at the Becker Brau Live Music Club, and online, on the websites www.diverta.ro, www.ticketpoint.ro and www.eventim.ro.
