Actress Catalina Murgea, who appeared in Tudor Giurgiu’s film “Lovesick” (2006) has passed away on Sunday evening at the age of 68, representatives of the Association for the Promotion of Romanian Film (APFR).
Catalina Murgea was also cast in the films “Tuvalu” (1999) by Veit Helmer, “Guilty as Charged” (1991) by Alexa Visarion,” “The Most Beloved of Men” (1995) by Stefan Marinescu, “Luxury Hotel” (1991), “Last Ball in November” (1988), “Competition” (1982), “Sand Embankments” (1983), the last four directed by Dan Pita. In 2007, Catalina Murgea won the Gopo Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, for her performance in the film “Lovesick” by Tudor Giurgiu.
