FC Timisoara qualifies for Romanian Cup final

FC Timisoara has qualified for the Romania Cup final after defeating Dinamo Bucharest on Tuesday evening in Cluj, score 4-1 (1-0). The semifinal game was played with no fans in the stands. Lukas Magera (25th minute), Abiodun (60th minute), Gigel Bucur (81st minute) and Nibombe (86th minute) scored for FC Timisoara, while Adrian Cristea (72nd minute) scored for Dinamo.

This was FC Timisoara’s first win against Dinamo after a 12-year dry spell, but it was also revenge for the home-side loss registered in the first half of the championship when FC Timisoara was thrashed by Dinamo, score 3-0.
