Former Formula 1 pilot David Coulthard (Scotland), took part on Sunday in a test drive from the Rex Hotel to the Constanta Casino, ‘Evenimentul Zilei’ informs.
An F1 RB-1 car used by the Red Bull team last season took part in the test drive that took place in two laps on a distance of 1.2 kilometers.
Because of the poor weather and the far too short distance Coulthard was unable to reach the car’s top speed. Nevertheless, the former pilot did not disappoint the close to 10,000 fans that attended the event. The fans enjoyed the last lap when Coulthard waved the Romanian flag.
