Codrin Stefanescu submitted his resignation from the Conservative Party (PC) and, at the same time, from his position of Vice-President of PC. “The reasons for my resignation are presented in an open letter to the PC President Daniela Popa, a letter I intend to publish on Tuesday (today, editor’s note). I still follow my principles and I will continue my struggle against the two-headed Boc – Geoana Government,” Stefanescu declared, as quoted by Agerpres. He mentioned that quitting PC does not mean leaving politics and announced that he will decide on the political offers he has already received during the days to come.
