Three children die in Sasca Mare home blaze

Three children, aged 7, 10 and 12, burned along with their home in the Suceava County commune of Sasca Mare. Neighbours immediately stepped it to douse the fire, which spread quickly to the entire house. According to Antena 3, a few embers fell off the fireplace, the smoulder suddenly became a blaze and the three kids passed out because of the smoke.

The young male who looked after the children was rushed to the hospital having tried to save the little ones. Another fire that burst out in Bucharest late Sunday night into early Monday morning caused significant damages, yet no victims were reported. According to Realitatea TV, two houses burned to the ground and two more were partially wrecked. The fire was most likely caused by a short circuit, spread fast and destroyed four houses.
