Basescu met with EU ambassadors

President Traian Basescu yesterday met with the ambassadors of the member states of the European Union accredited to Bucharest, at a working lunch at the residence of the Czech ambassador to Bucharest.
According to Mediafax, on his arrival, the Romanian head of state was welcomed by the ambassador of the Czech Republic, the country holding EU temporary chairmanship. The head of state made no statements to the press.
